Daring to be beautiful?

It takes a great deal of bravery to show up as your unique you.

Most women are hiding.

Working with women of all ages I have noticed the sad pattern that they are frightened of sharing their own beauty.

That little change in the hairstyle or a slight touch of makeup that enhances their personality is terrifying for many.

The dress that gorgeously suits their body suffers a lonely life in wardrobe.

The stunning photo gets never shared.

So many of us are afraid of showing the real us.

One of the beliefs is that the real us is not worth showing.
The Doves research a few years ago showed the tragic results that only 4% of women all over the world believe they are beautiful.

It’s tragic as EVERYONE has beauty.

(if you don’t believe – come to me and I will show you).

We believe that we have to be perfect and fit in in the standard box of beauty which is super limiting and invalidating.

The other reason that it’s not safe.

It’s safer to play safe, to be small and hide.
You don’t want to be too much.

You think you can avoid people judging and or hating you.

And so you play safe and are the good girl.
You downplay yourself to be sure you don’t step on anyone’s feet.

For a good reason as your experience has told you that being you is/ may be dangerous.

The cultural, religious & social norms of the society are created to have a power over you.

It’s safer to hide but is it worth to live your life to live that way?

Life is not about fitting in.
It was never been to meant that way.

You make this world more beautiful and your life more meaningful by expressing your uniqueness, choosing what is right for you and enjoy the hell out of it.

Feeling great & beautiful in your skin affects everything in your life:
-your wellbeing, your health, your relationships, your happiness.

——-
It’s time to break out and say big fat f*ck to those invisible strings that hold you back and choose for yourself.

Yes, it requires some badassery and a great deal of self-love but it’s so worth it.
The great thing is that as more you dare and celebrate yourself as better it gets.

It’s your life.
Don’t make yourself regret not living it fully and authentically.
